Base circle
row 1 ==> magic circle with 8 SC.
row 2 ==> 12 stitches (SC in first stich, 2 SC increasing in the next stitch = 12 stitches)
row 3 ==> 18 stitches (SC in first stich, 2 SC increasing in the next stitch = 18 stitches)
row 4 ==> 27 stitches (SC in first stich, 2 SC increasing in the next stitch = 27 stitches)
row 5 ==> 27 stitches (SC in each stitches)

you can add something to make the expression of face. Then, you can add pin at the backside.
