In this post i will tell you about how to read japanese pattern, but you are not good at japanese. Altough, i'm not master of it, i will help as far as i know about it.



First, look at pict below, there is an orange box and a blue box.

































Orange box :
1-14 = row
row 1 ==> magic circle with 6 SC.
row 2 ==> 12 stitches (2 SC in stitch = 12 stitches)
row 3 ==> 18 stitches (SC in first stich, 2 SC increasing in the next stitch = 18 stitches)
row 4 ==> 24 stitches (SC in the next 2 stitches, 2 SC increasing in the next stitch = 24 stitches)
row 5 ==> 30 stitches (SC in the next 3 stitches, 2 SC increasing in the next stitch = 30 stitches)
row 6 ==> 36 stitches (SC in the next 4 stitches, 2 SC increasing in the next stitch = 36 stitches)
row 7-14 ==> SC in each stitch.
the alphabet letter (that beside number of row) describe the colour.

Blue box :
in the blue box there is pattern that describe in a picture. If you still confuse with the symbols, you can see the pict below that describe the symbols.
